Raised in Winston-Salem, North Carolina, Ian Nelson began his acting career at a young age. He is best known for his screen debut in the blockbuster film THE HUNGER GAMES, MTV's TEEN WOLF, Peacock’s THERE’S JOHNNY, and THE BOY NEXT DOOR with Jennifer Lopez.

Throughout his career, Nelson has explored directing and producing, but he didn't hit his stride until he began making music in 2020. Since then, Nelson has directed, produced, and edited four music videos, three commercials, and countless editorial photoshoots.

 

Currently, Nelson is in development on multiple feature films and documentaries that he is both writing and directing. Most recently, he produced and directed a music video for Oscar-nominated actress Abigail Breslin, which he is now editing.

 

Having worked on both big-budget studio films with Oscar winners and low-budget indies with unknowns, Nelson's unique experience provides him with a widespread tool kit to create solutions that help brands, artists, and filmmakers elevate their vision to the next level.
